George Wright, Safety Officer

George Wright has more than 35 years background experience in construction including 25 years in construction and operation of research and development turbine engine test facilities for the U S Air Force. His experience in construction safety dates to the inception of OSHA. He holds a Bachelors degree in Aeronautics from St. Louis University, graduating in 1950. He has been the Safety Director at Wright Construction for more than ten years, during which the company was recognized by the Governor of Vermont as one of five companies in the State for Outstanding Workplace Safety.
George is a retired Air Force Major with 20 years of service, a 32-year member of the National Ski Patrol and a 25-year member of the Central Vermont/ Upper Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross where he served on the Board of Directors as First Aid Chair, and was an Instructor Trainer in First Aid and CPR.
