Thompson Bridge, East Swanzey, NH 1992
This $410,105 project consisted of significant structural renovations to a 150 foot long two-span covered bridge, incorporating a pedestrian walkway.
The renovations included re-establishing the camber of the bridge and replacing approximately 75% of the existing structural timbers maintaining historic jointery and construction appearance. These renovations resulted in a significant upgrading in the load rating of the structure.
