Bennington State Offices, Bennington, VT 2003

This $2,700,000 building project included extensive demolition and reconstruction of an old dilapidated existing building into a state of the art office facility. The facility is used to house various state offices as well as several classrooms for an extension of the Community College of Vermont.

Work included demolition and replacement of 9,200 square foot of concrete slab, a complete new structural steel roofing system with 12 skylights, new highly energy efficient windows throughout, two aluminum automated entry systems with canopy’s overhead.
The design and construction is state of the art for energy efficiency and qualified the project for major participation from Energy Service Corporation.

Exterior site improvements included a new paved parking area, new side walk pavers, new metal siding on a portion of the 2 story areas, and restoration of all exterior masonry.
