Ludlow Town Hall, Ludlow, VT 2006
This $597,000 project addressed a long list of needed building improvements. The Ludlow Town Hall, built in 1901, houses the Town and Village government and provides a place to hold many different community activities. In 2005, a committee of local citizens developed a comprehensive improvement plan for the aging building.
The plan included restoration of the historic wood windows, metal fire shutters, modification of historic steam radiators to accommodate a hot water heating system and lighting fixture upgrade. The upstairs auditorium received a makeover that turned it into a solid performance venue with state of the art
acoustics. Improvements were also made to the outside of the building and the interior hallways.
