NH Fire Training Academy, Concord, NH 1996

This $4,000,000 project was less than 20% completed when the contractor defaulted. The cost for the balance of construction was negotiated with the bonding company of the defaulted contractor. The project includes a 10,800 square foot dormitory and a 6,000 square foot training fire station fully equipped with apparatus. Both buildings won an award at the 14th Annual AIA New Hampshire Design Awards. Two associated contracts were negotiated and completed at this facility for a commercial building and fire training tower.
