Stratton Springs, Stratton Mountain, VT 1998
Stratton Springs is an upscale townhouse complex on Stratton Mountain which is part of the resort’s master plan calling for $200 million in construction over 10 years. Ground was broken for Phase I of the $7 million, 32-unit townhouse/vacation home complex in September 1998, with Phase II commencing in May 1999.
The Stratton Springs townhouses are wood-frame structures with a mix of stone veneer on the exterior along with clapboard and pine trim. Situated across the road from the slopes & a few hundred yards from Stratton Village. The floor plans consist of 2, 3 & 4 bedroom units fitted with “upper-end finishes.” All the units have fireplaces and the kitchens have granite countertops. Each owner had the option to custom design their unit. One owner purchased two units, then added a sunroom and combined the two kitchens into one large kitchen.
Stratton Common area amenities built with Phase I of Stratton Springs include an on-site pond, a gazebo with a hot tub and a stone sitting arbor. There are stone patios and stone walks throughout the complex along with extensive landscaping.
