Windsor Dam

This challenging project was an emergency repair required as a result of damage caused by Tropical Storm Irene. This project consisted of removing frail and unstable parts of the existing dam concrete back to sound material and forming and pouring a new ogee dam face and pouring a buttress of concrete in an area that had been compromised by the high flows. Because of concern that high spring water flows could further compromise the dam stability, this project had to be completed during the winter months. A total of 33 CY of concrete was placed.
